Tripoli University

Tripoli University is the largest university in Libya, located in the Libyan capital Tripoli. Founded in 1957 as a branch of the University of Libya before being separated in 1973 to become what is known today the University of Tripoli.

University of Benghazi

Benghazi University is the oldest and best university in Libya, it is the first modern university in the country. The University occupies about 460 hectares in the suburb of Gar Younis, south of the city of Benghazi in Libya.

Misrata University

Misrata University is a university based in the city of Misrata, Libya. It was formed in 2010 by the merger of Seventh of October University and Almergab University. The university's main campus is located in downtown Misrata.
